The Japanese Spider crab lives in waters around Japan.
They have the longest legs of any arthropod reaching 3.7m and weigh 20kg which is the same as two of our dog Billy!
The Japanese spider crab likes to live in deep water 10-13 0C. It decorates its body for camouflage and is an omnivore eating plants and preferring to scavenge dead animals rather than hunting.
