It’s a difficult balance trying to find somewhere affordable so home ed families can do learning and playing together.  Another home ed mum has started a home ed club in the library, so we have joined forces and that’s where my Lego club is now. It means it can be every week and it’s more accessible for bus users.

We had our first meet yesterday and there were lots of families there. Brandon found it loud and overwhelming to begin with, but because we can go in the room or in the library as we like, it worked. We read books, talked about making Minecraft mobs like the animals we were looking at, Brandon build Lego and made his own coasters – lots of great using of scissors to boot.

I hope we can keep it going, it’s a good thing.
