We have been learning about what it was like to be a peasant in medieval times! As part of that we had a go at weaving and wattle and daube, painting it with lime paint.
- First we got the loom ready
- We used the comb to push down each row of weaving
- We made a bookmark
- We made a frame and glued in our wattle sticks
- We mixed our daube using dirt, clay and hay
- We daubed the daube on the wattle
- When it was dry we painted it with lime paint
